The Arbors’ staff can make all of the necessary arrangements.
Should you need a less intensive level of care, we can also help you coordinate companion services or home health care right in the comfort of your home in Port Warwick. Once services are scheduled through an independent agency, you can then rest assured, knowing that our 24-hour staff will follow through with the appropriate contacts to ensure that you are comfortable and receiving the necessary care.
We are also pleased to begin another new service created as a result of requests from our residents. Sentara Home Care Service will become a preferred provider of services for residents who may need minor assistance in medication and health needs. As residents return from hospital visits or recover from illnesses, many have asked for our assistance in locating appropriate home care. Sentara has agreed to work with residents in order to coordinate a cost efficient manner in which to provide the various services that our residents may need. This will be a tremendous benefit to those residents who need a minimal level of assistance. This combined with the increase in services offered at the Sentara complex next door will provide many improved options for our residents.
Equally important for your convenience and comfort, our 24-hour a day Resident Assistant staff is available for you. Whether it is assistance with a simple task in your home when you are not feeling well or transportation to the doctor’s office, our dedicated staff is ready to provide you with a high level of service and hospitality that will make life easier.

Adjacent to The Arbors, the Sentara Port Warwick Medical Arts complex offers a variety of services including emergency care, physician offices – family practice, internal medicine and other specialty physicians, as well as specialty testing and diagnostic services. Other medical and dental offices are also conveniently located within Port Warwick and throughout the Oyster Point area.
