Our Director of Health Oversight is dedicated to providing assistance with a variety of health related issues from scheduling to individual awareness to educational opportunities and coordination of wellness activities. We have an on-premises rehabilitation facility with licensed therapists, a wellness coordinator, a state-of-the-art exercise room, and a variety of exercise classes. We offer ample opportunities to increase your wellness knowledge with programs and presentations from our staff and local experts. Our setting and support will reward you in your efforts to maintain your highest level of independence.

We are also pleased to begin another new service created as a result of requests from our residents. Sentara Home Care Service will become a preferred provider of services for residents who may need minor assistance in medication and health needs. As residents return from hospital visits or recover from illnesses, many have asked for our assistance in locating appropriate home care. Sentara has agreed to work with residents in order to coordinate a cost efficient manner in which to provide the various services that our residents may need. This will be a tremendous benefit to those residents who need a minimal level of assistance. This combined with the increase in services offered at the Sentara complex next door will provide many improved options for our residents.
